Friends of Brad Will is a network of activists which promotes enhanced public awareness about the human rights abuses linked to the “war on drugs”. In that context, we are working to promote government policies and actions that result in accountability for the murder by police in Mexico, of U.S. journalist Brad Will; solidarity and demands of accountability for 10s of thousands of other innocents murdered by Mexican government security forces and their narco proxies; and the rejection of Plan Mexico (aka the Merida Initiative) and CARSI – U.S. military/police aid packages providing U.S. weapons and training to Latin American and Caribbean security forces and corrupt civilian authorities under the guise of the ‘war on drugs’.
